Dangerous Dog Breed Liability Insurance
Unfortunately, with all the maulings and killings caused by pit bulls, liability insurance is difficult to obtain. The good new is, listed below are insurance companies that will insure your pit for as litte as $32.00 a month, depending on its past perfomance. Surely a responsible pit bull owner would delight in such a low price, to protect someone else from going in debt. Oh you say, "my baby wouldn't hurt a flea", but your baby can change and accidents DO HAPPEN. Jesus said, "There will be tribulations in the world", and you are not exempt.
I took in an abandoned kitty 3 1/2 years ago who was diagnosed with leucemia. I found a natural immune builder which costs about $50 a month. The initial cost was $150 a month, until her amune system was built up. But she was worth it, so the cost meant nothing. One thing you have to understand is, ANIMALS COST MONEY. If you cannot afford to own a pit bull, or any animal for that matter, don't get one. If Hymalayian cats were tearing up the country, maiming, killing everyting in site, I can assure you, I would have insurance to save myself from the agony of paying someone else's hospital debts. Then, I would not have another. But most people don't make wise decisions, I hope you're not one of them.
If you own a pit bull, get liability insurance to save yourself a life time of incurable debt. And if you have a pit bull ban in your city, county, or state, you can get affordable insurance to protect yourself from losing your pet bull. Actually, its as easy as pie.

If you have homeowner insurance or renters insurance, and it does not cover canine inflicted injures, talk to your insurance agent about purchasing a "personal umbrella liability policy." It is form of umbrella liability insurance for individuals and their families. It provides coverage for
(1) Excess liability over underlying liability coverage (homeowners, auto) and
(2) some of the liability exposures excluded by underlying policies, which might include canine liability (but be sure to check!). There is no standard form for this kind of policy, but generally the form requires the maintenance of underlying homeowners and auto liability policies with minimum combined single liability limits of $300,000 each.
The important thing is to ascertain that the umbrella policy under consideration does not exclude canine inflicted injuries.
